Welcome to our Projects page.  We are really excited about it.  Have you been looking for sewing projects for kids or wood craft projects?  Do you want an easy wood working project, gardening kit, or arts and craft ideas for a 4-H project?   Since we are in 4-H, we are always looking for 4-H projects and other fun projects to do.  We decided that we could help our homeschool friends and other 4-Hers to find sewing projects, wood projects, gardening kits , and others craft projects to help them complete the year, and learn useful skills.  On our Project Page you’ll be directed to projects ready for putting together.  These are simple projects that a young child with the help of Mom or Dad can put together and be happy with the results.  We have easy sewing projects, beginner sewing projects so your children aren’t frustrated.   These projects are prefect 4-H projects.  We are also planning projects for the intermediate level of skill.  These would include sewing projects for kids with a little more knowledge of sewing and wood craft projects that are a bit more advanced. Sewing Projects

These sewing projects come with all you need to make your very own aprons!  I know that my girls love wearing the aprons when they are in the kitchen.  These are also very handy if your girls or boys are taking a foods project or cake decorating project in 4-H!  We even fold and press the apron hems for the Simple Beginner’s Apron Project!   Each project will not only include all the pieces and thread you need to make the apron, but also the pins and needles you will need to use while sewing your apron!

Simple Beginner’s Apron –This project includes all you need to make your first apron!  There are only straight edges, and you can sew them by hand or, with the help of mom, you might even do this on the sewing machine!  

• This project includes: instructions, a piece of fabric, pressed and ready to sew, matching ribbon and 2 pieces of fabric for your apron pocket.  You will also get your thread and your very own pins, needles and small scissors to complete this project.

Intermediate’s Gathered Apron – This project includes all you need to make this apron!  This apron is for the more experienced sewer, or with the help of an adult.

• This project includes: instructions, four pieces of fabric for the body of your apron, and 2 pieces for theapron ties ”, two pieces of fabric for optional pockets.   You will also get your thread and your very own pins, needles and clippers to complete this project.

Arts & Crafts Projects

Refrigerator Calendar Projects - This is a really neat idea for your youngster to make and display on the refrigerator each day.   This will help him or her learn the days of the week and months of the year.   Everything he or she will need to make these Days of the Week Projects are supplied.  These are both great activities for your kids to use as a craft project in 4-H or to give as a gift to a friend!

• This project contains: instructions, an attractive box, craft sticks, magnets, decorations, permanent marker, glue gun and gun sticks. Please use the glue gun with adult supervision!
